For the Quantitative Section, working smarter can sometimes be more important than just working harder. The following video is a 1-hour introduction to some of the tools that we find are essential for doing your best on the Quant section.
Further Study
Once the foundations material is complete, we recommend the Official Guide to the GMAT as well as the Quantitative and Verbal Review books produced by GMAC. There is nothing as effective as reviewing using official test questions that appeared on older exams and were created by the same people who make the actual test.
Verbal Study Suggestions
Sentence Correction
To master the GMAT, you’ll need to truly understand Sentence Correction. Here is a 1-hour introduction to sentence correction and overview of some of the rules that you need.
It is difficult, if not impossible, to break 700 on the GMAT without understanding Sentence Correction. These are the most frequently occurring sections on the GMAT verbal section and play a huge role in getting your overall score in shape. This session is focused on overall Sentence Correction strategy as well as demystifying some of the specific grammar rules tested on the GMAT. We will offer some key tools to make it easier to identify grammar errors that will NEVER occur in correct answers.
