TestCrackers private tutoring policies
Thank you for deciding to study with TestCrackers! Please carefully read the policies below and submit your name at the bottom after doing so.
We are excited to help you with your test prep journey!
1. Although you may arrange to meet your tutor anyway that is mutually convenient, our offices are located at:
582 Market Street Suite 301 in San Francisco, CA;
3284 Adeline St. in Berkeley, CA; and
1543 Lafayette St. in Santa Clara, CA.
There is no free parking near this office. Please take public transit if possible as we are directly on top of the Montgomery BART station.
The offices are on the third floor of the Hobart Building. Enter the lobby, take the elevator to the 3rd floor, then turn right as you exit. Our office is Suite 301 on the left. Enter using the door code.
There is free 2-hour parking right in front of the office, as well as the plazas immediately north and south of our plaza, and on-street. We’re also a very short walk (less than 3 blocks straight on Adeline) from the Ashby BART station.
The offices are the second floor of a building on Adeline near the corner with Alcatraz. After pressing the code, just go up the stairs and enter the classroom. If you arrive early, make yourself at home! Help yourself to snacks and water. The restroom is down the hall after the second classroom.
There is free on-street and on-site parking. To park in our lot, enter the driveway on the right side of the building and park in any space on the left. We are a short walk from Santa Clara University.
The offices are on the second floor. As you face the building from the street just go up the steps to the right of the K & H Fine Jewelry and we are right there. Enter using the code, and if you arrive early, make yourself at home! Help yourself to snacks and water.
2. Lessons must be paid for at the time of scheduling in order to hold the availability of your tutor. We accept payment by check, Venmo (an easy-to-use app which allows for debit card transactions without a fee), or credit card.
3. The cancellation period is 48 hours. You may change the time of, reschedule, or cancel a lesson, but to avoid a charge of the full cost of the lesson, it must be more than 48 hours prior to your scheduled time. We know this sounds harsh, but once once you schedule hours with us, we cannot schedule that time with anyone else, so if you cancel or change the time of the lesson with short notice, that time is lost.
4. If you arrive late, unfortunately that time is still part of the lesson, and we cannot stay late to make up that missed time. Please let us know if you will be late to a lesson. If you must leave early from a lesson, the remainder of the time also counts toward the lesson.
